Summer Camp 2018
Drawing Explorations: June 11-15 (9:00am-Noon ages 6-13)
Drawing basics and more advanced instruction on drawing techniques, realistic portraits as well as anime and cartoon. Campers will learn to use charcoal, pastel, pencil, and ink. (Otto's recommends taking this week and next week' camp together, discounts are given if you sign up for both)
Painting Workshop: June 18-22 (9:00am-Noon)
Focus on a different artist and style each day. Fun activities to get our future artists loosened up. Campers will create with watercolor, acrylic paints, and oil paints trying a variety of new techniques in adding tone, value, and texture to paintings. (Otto's recommends taking this week and last week's camps together, discounts are given if you sign up for both)
How to be a real artist: June 25-29 (9:00am-Noon ages 8-13)
Guest artist demonstrations, trips to local galleries (walking) and one trip to either the sculpture museum or art museum. We will take a look at the contemporary artists of today and art masters of the past. Campers will learn to talk about their art, diplsay their art and use their own artistic creativity to create works while using artist inspiration. (there may be a small additional fee for a trip)
Outdoor Art Fun: July 9-13 (9:00am-Noon ages 6-13)
Grab bag sculptures, tape graffiti, leaf rubbing river collages, creature geocacching, pencil/charcoal tree drawing projects, and more!
Teen Week: July 16-20 (9:00am-Noon ages 12 and up)
Drawing, painting, graphic drawing apps, and designing/printmaking shirts.
Ceramic Fun: July 23-27 (9:00am-Noon ages 6-13)
Hand building ceramics using coils, slabs, glazing, etching, and more! If your child loves to work with their hands and get a little messy this camp is for them!
Multi Media: August 6-10 (9:00am-Noon ages 6-13)
Mosaics, collage, collaboration art, quilting, and weaving. This camp is all about creativity and exploration while trying unexpected mediums.
Multi Media Junior: August 13-17 (9:00am-11:00am ages 4-6)
Crafty camp lots of fun with finger paints, buttons, tissue paper, crayons, rocks and sand. Projects everyday plus time to practice drawing animals. This is a great way to get framiliar with drawing shapes and developing fine motor skills.
DIY Good Time: August 20-24 (9:00am-Noon ages 6-13)
Craft Week!!! Image transferring on fabric, wood, and old books, string art, wall hangings, CD Mosaics, paint swatch chandelier and more.
Camps are Monday-Friday from 9:00am-12:00pm, Costs are listed below. Camps will max at 15 students and there must be at least 6 enrolled. Otto's has a new snack policy this year Campers may bring their own snacks for a designated snack time however due to a high number of dietary restirctions Otto's will not be providing snack, on Fridays we will provide an ice cream treat. Ottos will also have water and juice on hand each day.
All supplies are included unless noted above.
Camps fill up fast! We require a $50 downpayment to secure a spot for your child. The remaining balance is due the first day of your registered camp which is $80.00. A 10% sibling discount will be given off of final remainder due. Otto's will also honor a 10% off multiple camp discount.

Down payments will be paid with PayPal or over the phone, check in mail or walk in. Email firstname.lastname@example.org or call to register. Please give the dates/times of the camp, as well as the names and ages of the campers; an invoice will be emailed to you. Once payment is received an email confimation will be sent. Down payment must be made within 3 days of registration for a spot to be held. Full payments can also be made. Again, spots are limited and camps fill up fast!
